Leveling and Games-playTips 1.0

Simple Leveling and Game-Play Tips 1.0 in Nume-RO

This is simple tips will be leading for starter that confusing where to leveling or have no idea about it.

Look for Little Warper in Elspring then select monster ground and you will see all the maps that enable to enter. All the available maps in Nume-RO are the best selection from the version of particular list. The GM will not reversed all the disabled maps, especially, monster dungeon and fields, and never.

How to change Job/Classes?

Change your job first! Max Basic skill is required. You can talk to Job master (Left image) for change any job or class that you want. The Job Master is located in Louyang City. The only way to get in there is talk to Little Warper for a Louyang's warp. Once you have select and changed the job you want to be, you can start leveling until the Job Level have reach to 40 either 50. (If you can't wait to change to second job, then job level 40 is enough. But, 50 is recommended, because you will get more skill point in the future usages.)

Afterward, when maxed Base Level 99 you can Reborn to High Classes and then the last and completed Job of 2nd Advanced.

* For beginner that don't know what Job you should play? or what skills and stats to add? Please don't be hesitate to asking us in our forum!

Leveling classes suggested for any first or second Jobs.

If you are on a tight budget and a pure beginner, start leveling in Greenfield 1. They are not that difficult to fight with. But be careful because there’s lot of mini boss in there. Please bear in mind, you are just starting out. The zeny would come later as you grew stronger.

Tips 1 : If you feel annoying of keep clicking on the mouse-one while attacking the monster, you can use the command " /NoCTRL "  on the chat-box for active one click auto attacking, or else re-command it again to deactivated. For another method, You can also just hold the CTRL on your keyboard then target point to the monster for auto attacking.( This command doesn't work on skill. )

Location to go leveling!
Level 12~30 - Green Land > Greenfield 1  (Kills Poring,Drop,Marin,Poporing)
Level 30~40 - Green Land > Greenfield 2
Level 40~50 - Oriental Area > Payon Dungeon Medium
Level 50~60 - Orc World > Orc Hell Dungeon
Level 70~80 - Desert Field > Pyramid Dungeon (For Priest class, i would suggest you to go Prison.)
Level 80~90 - Demon Ground > Underground Prison   (Suggest to party with a Priest)
Level 90~99 - Beach Water > Turtle Island (If you're a priest, i would suggest you to stay on Prison until level 99.)

Note : Base Level 98 to 99 would be extremely hard! ( You can find a creator to leech you at Abyss dungeon or Lighthalzen. )

Advanced job could follow the guide above to go leveling.. since the second advanced classes are much more stronger, it's also depend on your character's build and job to go and obtain higher experience from hardest monster.

Party
There's a method is party party party! Look around and seek for party. It's a good chance to meet other people. Socialize through partying with other players. Not only they could help you level fast, but they could also make playing Ragnarok more fun. We believe this could happen in Nume-RO, since it's classic game-playing style.

Leveling Equipment
Invest first in your armor then weapon. Because you will get 888,888 of zeny after enter into the world of Ragnarok Online. You can also hunt for some useful card around while leveling. The drops rate of card is 10% medium chance. Go hunt for cards that enhances attacks, defense or the card that able to boost higher gain experience when killed it's races or element monster, it could makes your leveling faster and last longer around in the monster ground.

Out of Zeny?
When you're facing Zeny problems, we can suggest you go to ORC Village. There you can hunt for gold from Dokebi, which you could sell it to a shop that can earn you 100,000z each, or you can use a job Merchant with added skill Overcharge that can sell +24% more prices. ( When you're hunting for golds, you can also use @autoloot command for automatically pick up all the items after you had killed a monster. )

Get nothing EXP points?
Double check by (ALT+G) whether you are paying TAX to a guild or not. Taxing to a guild could make your leveling slower.

How to use a skill on Hot-key?
  • Press CTRL + S on your keyboard to bring up the skill menu. Add the skill points into your desired skills.
  •  Press F12 to display the Hot-key bar, then drag skills to your hot key slot. For example, if you wish to assign "Bowling Bash" to the F2 hot key, drag it to the F2 slot of the bar. Remember that you can only drag all the active skill into the hot-key slot and not the passive skill.
For others functional short-cut key usages, you can click on getting started for more information.

- If you have any better guide and tips, you can propose us through our forums. We'll share out inside of the Tips categories. Make sure the guide must be useful in Nume-RO. For support question you can also post it into the forum. Thank you!

Tips : War of Emperium : Strategies One

To be able to be quite successful in WoE, you need to have a fairly high amount of people, at least 15+, that come on every WoE at least once a week. Every class is essential. Your guild members need to be strong (as in highly leveled) and especially your guild master, since he calls most of the shots and casts the special skills the guild can do in WoE. For example: Recall, which allows the user to get all of his guild mates to the user's location.
Always keeping suff and pnumea on the wizard line every single time you defend. Keep doing it, until it's not necessary or the guild master decides to stop. The overall outcome should be okay, depending the guild level and the amount of people. A lot also depends on the amount of support and team work, and how efficiently you can perform.

Classes

  • Priests: They seem pretty self-explanatory; the priest class pretty much heals and buffs.
  • Wizards: Wizards are used to kill or weaken the enemy while they are coming into the emp room. Guild Masters: Never let all of your wizards cast the same spell. A max should be two wizards for each spell. All wizards should be put together, and should never be apart (usually in a line for Crusaders, more on that below). The wizard line should never stay near the entrance, more around the middle of the room, where they can easily cast at the entrance.
  • Bards: Cast strings to help the wizards.
  • Dancers: Cast slow grace near the portals, so the wizards can put a hurting on the enemies a lot more.
  • Dancers with Bards: When both are together, both dancer and bard go near the portal. The dancer casts slow grace, but with the bard next to her, it turns into classical pluck. Classical pluck makes your opponents and allies not have the ability to use their skills, which is great for the opponents who send their casters (so beware for melee).
  • Sages: Sages cast Magnetic Earth on the wizards to protect them.
  • General Melee: Knights, Crusaders and Blacksmiths – these classes stay around the entrance of the Emp room, the middle of the room and near the emp. They should kill anyone right next to them.
  • Crusaders: Considered a back up healer when necessary, every guild needs is a Crusader. At least one needs to Sac the wizard line, so damage on them is put on the crusader's massive amount of HP.
  • Hunters: Used for trapping up by making ankle snares and shockwaves on the walk up to the emperium. Ankles snares slow down opponents, while Shockwave lets you see the ninjas. For damaging, they should stay slightly farther back from melee and just snipe anyone in range.
  • Rogues and Assassins: Melee fighters than can also stealth. They are the ones in charge of stopping recall from other guild mates, by using stone fling.
  • Monks: They are just like the melee, but you hang low. When chaos, destruction, and horror is right in your face, it's time for them to react. Find the biggest threat (usually the person hitting the emp the fastest) and start killing him. They should use theri g-fist move.
  • Gunslinger: Gunslingers stand by the warp portal and literally hug them with desperado. They should use silver bullets to get those with evil druid cards for some extra punch.
  • Soul Linkers: Links every single character around them and give buffs in the following order:
    1. Other Soul Linkers
    2. Wizards
    3. Bards and Dancers
    4. Assassins and Rogues
    5. Everyone else

    Creating your Character
Once you log in, you can create a character for yourself by choosing your name and appearance.

Great care should be given to name selection. The first impression other players have of you will be based on your name, so it's best to start off on the right foot. While choosing the perfect name for your character, guild, party or pet is generally left to your discretion. Be aware of the naming policy so that you do not risk penalties such as having to rename your character.

    • STR: Strength - Increases attack strength and weight capacity.
    • AGI: Agility - Increases attack speed and dodge rate.
    • VIT: Vitality - Increases defense and health, as well as HP recovery.
    • INT: Intelligence - Increases magic attack and magic defense.
    • DEX: Dexterity - Increases accuracy and stabilizes the amount of damage done by a weapon. As well as lowers the cast time to some skills/spells.
    • LUK: Luck -I ncreases Critical hits and perfect dodge rate, and brings about lots of luck.
In Ragnarok Online, you start as a Novice and are able to change to one of six different first class jobs. After the first job change each job can change into a more advanced class. The character then continues to grow through the job changes. See diagram below for a detailed explanation.

    How experience is obtained
Experience is given to each player based on how much damage was done to the monster's HP during combat. The player who does the most damage will gain the most experience.
Example 1: If a monster with 100 HP gave 100 experience points and your character did 65 damage to the monster, you will gain 65 experience points. When cooperating with other characters to attack a monster, a different experience system is applied.
Example 2: A monster with 100 HP that gives 100 experience points is being attacked by two characters A and B. Character A attacks first and does 50 damage to the monster, followed by character 'B' who also does 50 damage. Character A will then gain 66.6 experience points, twice the amount of experience of character B, who gains 33.3 points.
Also, if more than one player attacks the same monster, the total experience points the monster offers increases by 25% for every extra player. This system was implemented to reduce the 'kill-stealing' ill-mannered activity.

    How to create Party?
Type /Organize "Party Name" To create a party.

    Sharing experience in a party
You can create parties with other characters using the friend button in the Basic Info window. The party leader can choose either Each Take or Even Share for experience points.
Each Take allows the normal experience point distribution without the special party experience point features. Even Share allows party members to share the experience points to help leveling with other characters. For normal monsters, the criteria mentioned above will apply, with 25% extra experience points for each additional attacker.
Even Share distributes the experience evenly to all party members. All members must be on the same map, and the lowest level member must be within 10 levels of the highest level member.
Experience Point distribution only applies to characters which are online and in the party. Characters that die during battle will not receive any experience points.
